I grew up in a small town in Northern Idaho. I graduated from high school in 1993. I attended Carroll College for 2 years and then transferred to the University of Montana in Missoula. Here I graduated with Honors with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Since then, I have earned 2 Master's Degrees. The first was in Learning & Technology. My most recent one was in Educational Leadership.

I have taught in a few different places. My first job was in Ridgecrest, CA then to Grants Pass, OR then to Eureka, MT.

I met my husband in high school. We dated for several years before we were married in 1996. We have three wonderful boys that keep us very busy. We also have a Wire-haired Pointing Griffon named Irish. He is pretty much just like one of our children.
